A 5 year old child is cared for by his loving mother, who gives him plenty of love and affection. However, their existence is anything but typical: they both live trapped in a room of ten square meters. As soon as Jack's curiosity for their condition grows, the resistance of his mother decreases; together they put in place an escape plan that will lead them to come face to face with the scariest reality.
